National Awakening Museum (STOVIA)

Originally the building of STOVIA, School tot Opleiding van Inlandsche Artsen, or school for the training of native physicians. Producing a generation of youth who would later participate in disseminating ideas about nationhood and independence from colonialism.

How to get here:

• Bus
  Use TransJakarta and take line 2 (Harmoni Central – Pulogadung), get down at Kwitang Bus Stop or RSPAD Bus Stop, and walk to the museum (± 10 minutes). You can also TransJakarta line 2A (Rawa Buaya – Pulogadung), get down at the same bus stops and walk to the museum.
• Train
  Use Commuter Line. From Bekasi line, get down at Gondangdia Station and use online transportation (Gojek/Grab) or walk to the museum (± 18 minutes).
