RajutKejut is a community of yarn bombing practitioners. Founded in 2014 in Jakarta, its first project was to wrap a sidewalk bench in front of the National Museum in celebration of the 69th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. This crochet project was carried out collectively by Harjuni Rochajati, Vidhyasuri Utami, Elisabet Tata, Yulina Achrini, and Wahju Hardjanti. Along the way, RajutKejut has grown to involve the participation of hundreds of crochet artists throughout Indonesia. This community is open to anyone interested in the art of yarn bombing.
