Cecil Mariani’s practice combines aspects of academic work, art and design. Her works question the productive and reproductive, the visible and invisible as well as the problems of organisation. At the 2021 Jakarta Biennale, Cecil, along with Anggraeni Widhiasih who is active in collectives and experimental platforms, aim to satisfy the curiosities behind the formation of the so-called normal and paranormal.
