Installation with school benches, tree, and soundscape
Anusapati is a sculptor who also teaches at the Faculty of Visual Arts of the Indonesia Institute of the Arts of Yogyakarta. Manifesting a nature-abiding attitude, he works mainly using bamboo and wood, especially teak. In addition, he exploits bronze, found object, and installation. His sculptures are built out of objects from daily life, such as traditional slit drum, boat, traditional chignon, etc, which gain new, different volumes and forms.
